The House of Frerejean Frères, founded in 2005 by Guillaume and Rodolphe Frerejean Taittinger, is distinguished by its unique know-how in the production of exceptional champagnes. In 2025, on the occasion of its 20th anniversary, the house celebrates its history while announcing a new, more modern identity, accompanied by ambitious projects. The Premier Cru rosé cuvée, a gastronomic wine, which embodies the elegance and generosity of the Côte des Blancs terroir.

An exceptional terroir

Frerejean Frères' Premier Cru rosé is a product of the Côte des Blancs and the Marne Valley. It is made up of 60% Chardonnay Grand Cru from Cramant and Chouilly, and 40% Pinot Noir Premier Cru, of which 12% have been vinified in red and aged in oak barrels. The result is a champagne that combines the freshness of Chardonnay with the fruity richness of Pinot Noir.

Food & wine pairings

This first vintage rosé lends itself to a multitude of gastronomic weddings. It perfectly accompanies tasty dishes such as a perfect egg with chorizo ​​or garlic and parsley langoustines. Its fruity freshness also sublimates cheeses of character, such as Beaufort, and it finds its place for dessert, especially with chocolate creations like a black forest.

Tasting: a rosé with gourmet notes

To the eye, this Premier Cru rosé is distinguished by its salmon pink colour with copper reflections, magnified by fine and elegant bubbles. On the nose, intense aromas of red fruits, such as cherry and strawberry, are expressed. These fruity notes are accompanied by subtle touches of bark and mandarin, bringing complexity and freshness to the whole.

On the palate, the champagne reveals a perfect harmony between creaminess and a slight salinity, underlined by toasted flavours. Its balance makes it an ideal wine for refined gastronomic pairings.
