Éclipse N°1 opens the first chapter of our Private Collection, designed to reveal the most singular vintages of the House. The first opus of a trilogy, this edition celebrates the 2016 vintage through two complementary interpretations.
Forged by climatic contrasts, the 2016 vintage required a rigorous selection of the finest grapes. From this exceptional year are born two Grand Cru cuvées, revealing with precision the identity of the Côte des Blancs after nine years of aging on lees.
Like an eclipse, this collection is born from the rare alignment of climate, terroir and time. Produced in strictly limited quantities, it captures a unique moment, destined never to be repeated.
Blanc de Blancs
Éclipse Blanc de Blancs 2016 reveals a pure and refined expression of Chardonnay. Marked by brioche and buttery notes, the cuvée combines roundness, freshness and elegant minerality in a long and precise finish.
Rosé
Éclipse Rosé 2016 expresses the full depth of the vintage through an ample and silky palate, where stewed red fruits meet remarkable freshness and an elegantly vinous finish.
THE EXPRESSION OF A GRAND CRU TERROIR
The Éclipse collection takes root in the heart of the Grands Crus of the Côte des Blancs, where chalky soils have shaped the identity of wines for millions of years. A true natural regulator, chalk accompanies the vine throughout its cycle and allows Chardonnay to express remarkable finesse, mineral tension and great precision.
Each vintage then reveals a unique expression of the terroir. With Éclipse Rosé, Pinot Noir completes this interpretation by bringing depth, structure and delicate intensity.
Each edition is produced in strictly limited quantities: 3,600 bottles of Eclipse Blanc de Blancs and 5,500 bottles of Eclipse Rosé. Available upon request, they embody the confidential nature of this collection designed for great vintages.

Production,
tasting
and potential
Each Éclipse cuvée is crafted with a constant pursuit of precision and balance, to preserve the integrity of the fruit and the expression of the terroir.
The winemaking relies on gentle pressings, slow fermentations and controlled aging, with a portion in barrels adding complexity and texture. The long aging on lees, of nearly ten years, allows the wine to develop depth, finesse and harmony.
On tasting, the wines reveal their identity with precision: the Blanc de Blancs is distinguished by its tension and purity, while the Rosé deploys a more ample, structured and expressive character.
Designed to evolve, these cuvées gain in complexity over time. The initial aromas progressively give way to deeper notes of dried fruits, brioche and honey, revealing the full richness of the vintage.
